Type: Bed & Breakfast

You can enjoy Padstow and North Cornwall without the crowds by staying just a few miles away here in Wadebridge. Padstow and Wadebridge are linked by the Camel Trail, a delightful walk or cycle alongside the Estuary which means you can visit Padstow without the cost of parking. There is an hourly bus service between the two towns which on the return stops adjacent to Wadebridge Bed and Breakfast where there is also free parking for your vehicle.

Wadebridge is a thriving former market town with independent shops, very good restaurants, a cinema, sports facilities and easy access to the rest of Cornwall.

At Wadebridge Bed and Breakfast we strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, with the highest levels of guest service and care from the moment you book and throughout your stay. We are proud to be graded AA 5 Star Gold, and to have been awarded the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for the past 2 years as well as the AA Breakfast Award.

The delightful rooms called Padstow, Polzeath and Rock are newly decorated this year and are clean and spacious and feature fresh, sumptuous Egyptian cotton linen to ensure a good nights rest. The en-suite bathrooms feature powerful and plentiful hot showers, under floor heating and electric towel rails. In your room there are tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk, bottled water and freeview television with DVD.  There is free wi-fi in all rooms and throughout the house.

Situated in a quiet residential road we have off road parking and can offer secure storage for bikes and surfboards etc plus garaged parking should you have a treasured vehicle.

Wadebridge is home to the Camel Trail 18 miles of safe traffic free walking and cycling between Padstow and Bodmin Moor along the side of the Camel Estuary. As well as being the cycling hub of Cornwall Wadebridge has unrivalled bus links both up and down the Coast should you wish to explore the South West Coast Path.

Wadebridge itself is a bustling former market town with plenty of interesting and unusual independent shops offering a unique shopping experience. There are a number of good restaurants in the town, all within walking distance of the house and we have a plethora of top chefs within a short distance including Rick Stein, Nathan Outlaw, Paul Ainsworth and Jamie Olivers 15.

Wadebridge Bed and Breakfast is within easy reach of the rest of Cornwall - in fact there are not many places and attractions in Cornwall that cannot be reached within an hour of Wadebridge. There are a number of National Trust houses within easy reach including Lanhydrock, Trerise as well as our "local" stately homes and gardens at Pencarrow and Prideux Place in Padstow.

We are blessed with some of the finest golf courses in Cornwall - Trevose offers the finest seaside links as does St Enodoc and inland there are the parkland courses of Lanhydrock, Bowood and 9 hole golf at St Kew.

Within a few miles there are some of the most beautiful beaches Cornwall can offer including Polzeath, Rock, Daymer Bay, and Trevone,  Harlyn, Constantine, and Treyarnon Bay. Explore a little further and the quaint Cornish harbours of Padstow and Port Isaac ( home to ITV's Doc Martyn)hove into view along with Boscastle, Tintagel and Bude.

Wadebridge Bed and Breakfast is Eco graded Silver by the Green Tourism Business Scheme and operates to high environmental standards with solar panels, low energy lighting, a full recycling regime and local purchasing to ensure you get a true taste of Cornwall. Our breakfasts offer the traditional “full Cornish” or continental or a combination of both and can be taken in the breakfast room or (weather permitting) on the garden patio. Special diets can also be catered for. We look forward to welcoming you!
