Converted from the stables of a 19th century farmhouse, Welltown has beautiful views over fields, wooded hills and valleys. The area is ideal for those seeking to escape from crowds, while still being within easy reach of local villages, towns and both coasts. The locality abounds with public footpaths and winding lanes and the Moor offers attractive walking and solitude. The numerous beaches and fishing villages of the north and south coasts are within 30 minutes drive. There are many glorious gardens and historic houses like Lanhydrock as well as the Eden Project within easy reach.
The centrally heated cottage is approached from a courtyard into a light and well-equipped kitchen/dining area with fitted units, electric cooker, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and pine dining furniture. A tumble dryer is available across the courtyard. The comfortable lounge has a flatscreen TV,DVD,video and log effect fire in addition to radiators. Ample literature, walk books and maps are available for you to browse through at your leisure. French doors open out onto the private patio area with garden seating and gas barbecue.
Stairs from the kitchen lead up to a landing, a double bedroom, bathroom with WC and handbasin with shower over the bath and a twin bedded room with lovely views over the fields and wooded hills. All beds have duvets and all linen is provided. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
Visitors are welcome to walk in the two fields that adjoin the property if there is no stock in them.
Well behaved pets are welcome.
