The Copper Trail
Free Guidebook from Bodmin Visitor Information Centre and the Best of Bodmin Moor Association
The Copper Trail is a walking route on Bodmin Moor. In total the walk is approximately 60 miles in length, passing through the many and varied landscapes and villages on the moor. The Copper Trail is so called because one of its most noticeable features are the abundance of disused Copper mines that can be seen along the route. There is an excellent guidebook to the trail that describes all the routes and gives some history and insight into the features that can be seen on route. You are also advised to purchase the 109 Bodmin Moor Explorer Map.
You can get get a free copy of the Copper Trail Guidebook by contacting Bodmin Visitor Information Centre who will be very pleased to send you your very own copy. The 109 Bodmin Moor Explorer Map is also available from Bodmin Visitor Information Centre and is priced at £7.99. This can be either purchased in advance of your trip using a credit or debit card or from our bookshop when you arrive in the area.
