Getting to Bodmin has never been easier. Gone are the days of inching your way along the motorway. Bodmin is well situated right at the heart of Cornwall, is within a mile of the A30, has a mainline train station, is on the National Express coach route and is within easy reach of Newquay Airport. All that is left for you to decide is how you are going to get here, be it by road, rail, air or coach.
By Train
By train First Great Western operate high speed services from London Paddington, South Wales and the Cotswolds to Cornwall, including sleeper services from London Paddington. First Great Western also operate services on Cornwall's branch lines. Cross Country Trains (Arriva Trains) operate some services into Cornwall from the Midlands, the North and Scotland. By coach
Bodmin is on the National Express coach route and there are connecting services from London, Birmingham and Bristol. To book a seat you can contact the friendly staff at Bodmin Visitor Information Centre who can book National Express Tickets with no booking fee. By Air

By Road
The M4, M5 and M6 motorways have made travel to Cornwall and Bodmin simple and straightforward, while within Cornwall itself, the two major holiday routes, the A30 and A38 continue to improve with fast dual carriageways. Follow the M5 to Exeter, after which you will either take the A30 or A38 to Bodmin. there is the Altlantic Highway, the A39, which you can join at junction 27 on the M5.
