To kick start February Half Term, the Living History group The 32nd Cornwall Regiment of Foot 1808-1815 will be making an appearance for their Drill Practice Day, taking place here at Bodmin Keep on Sunday the 11th February. There will be marching and drill displays at 12:00 and 14:00. Find out more on the Napoleonic Era Drill Practice Days events page. (Please note, during the Drill Practice Days parking may be limited, and there may be loud noises, which dog owners or families with small children may wish to consider before planning their visit.)

The Keep will be open every day between 10:00 am and 4:30 pm, with family activities throughout the week.

Visit our second hand book room and refreshment area. Dogs are welcome throughout the museum.  We have free parking at the rear of the museum, and overflow parking nearby at the Pay and Display.

The museum is easily accessible from the A30. It is located on the B3268 Lostwithiel Road.

SatNav users may wish to use the postcode PL31 1DU, which will take you to Bodmin Bowls Club, opposite to the museum’s parking area.

Parking There is limited free parking at the rear of the museum (SatNav PL31 1DU) and additional free on-street parking nearby, plus Victoria Square pay and display car park 100 metres level walk to the rear of the museum along Castle Canyke Road.

Public Transport Directions

From Liskeard, Wadebridge or Padstow take the Plymouth Citybus 11a to Bodmin Town Centre stopping at Bodmin General Station.

From Truro/ St Austell take the First bus no.27 to Bodmin Town Centre stopping at Bodmin General Station.
